History

Established in 1992.

Dance Manhattan exposed its doorways in NYC in 1992. We specialize in personal dance and offer ideal in party training, both in team and personal circumstances. We've invested the last 22 years honing our art and fine-tuning our staff.

In December 2014, we shut our studios, and our huge ballroom, at our well-known NYC West 19th St place. We have joined forces with your friends at you need to be dance...! (412 8th Ave, 4th flr). You can now find DM proprietors, Teddy and Elena, along side a majority of their fabulous instructors providing the same high quality training at this brand-new center.

Elena is a nationwide known instructor, performer, & performer with a history in operation businesses for the dance industry. Teddy Kern is a choreographer, instructor, party historian, & competitors judge with years worth of experience into the party business.

Over 22 years, they developed the ideal school to master and perfect personal Ballroom, Swing, Argentine Tango & Latin dances. Supplying the full variety of classes and personal party functions to foster the art of personal dance.

Their actual place at 39 W 19th St closed in Dec 2014. They, and lots of of their fabulous teachers, now make use of You Should Be Dancing...! Studios at 412 8th Ave, NYC, supplying regular classes, workshops & personal classes at this new location.
