- Beginners Argentine Tango – February first, 2016 from 7pm-8pm!

Courses take place at 5320 S. MacDill Ave, Tampa FL

Argentine Tango is a personal partnered party of improvisation and connection in which every step is led - from a simple side step to a complex design. The character of improvisation in Argentine Tango produces limitless possibilities when you look at the dance and enables the appearance and explanation of songs by both dancers through body motion, embellishments and rhythm. Because everyone else conveys themselves differently, every performer and each party varies. Our Initial Education Program:

At TampaTangoArgentino, we are invested in allow you to get moving Argentine Tango as soon as possible aided by the right technique. Our program includes 3 initial amounts that simply take around 16 months to complete. The primary focus of these levels is on the principles of Argentine Tango which is needed for more technical sequences and getting you to definitely the next amount, enhancing your confidence with each amount. Continuing Knowledge:

Subjects within the Continuing Education program never follow a certain program, but focus on various subjects and period which are established ahead of time on our once a week publication.

Milongas:

Milongas are personal gatherings which can be well attended by novice and advanced level dancers where you can enjoy dance with various people and improving your abilities. TampaTangoArgentino offers two Milongas: Milonga “De Los Viernes” and Milonga “La Portenita”.

Milonga “De Los Viernes” (Every Friday from 9pm-12am): that is a traditional Milonga and is time for you to get used to dancing Argentine Tango. The more you attend this Milonga, the higher and much more comfortable you're going to get whenever dance at Milonga “La Portenita”.

Milonga “La Portenita” (Every 1st Saturday from 9pm-1am): that is it! This is how you dress to impress, shine your footwear and dancing through the night with dancers that come from most of environments places and several times away from state. This is where you go dance and show your skills, meet new-people and dance with several different tangueros.

The timeframe and further information of each course is described below:

Initial Education:

AT-101: Tango Beg I (6 Weeks): This class focuses on the fundamentals of Argentine tango. Leading\following, connection, the stroll, ochos as well as other variations.

AT-102: Tango Beg II (6 Weeks): This course focuses on giros (turns), molinete (grapevine), while the technique necessary to execute circular action and changes of direction.

AT-103: Tango Close Embrace (6 Weeks): This course focuses on the skills and strategy required to move to the AT-201 amount and figure out how to dance in close embrace because it’s danced in Buenos Aires.

AT-201: Tango Int\Adv: This class centers on specific intermediate\advance topics particularly volcadas, sacadas, more complex sequences, etc… The topics are established on our weekly newsletter.

Workshops:

Every so often, TampaTangoArgentino will instruct workshops that consider specific subjects. Workshops usually are 1.5 hours lengthy and they are more intensive than a normal course and they are established on the weekly newsletter.
